What distinguishes this business
Choose a bath-and-brush or a haircut; the gland service is explicitly dogs-only
Noah's Ark in Elk Grove expressly offers bathing and customized grooming for cats as well as dogs. Its service page describes brush-out, drying and haircut options with individual attention. The homepage labels anal-gland expression as dogs-only, an important exclusion when reading the shared service list. The proprietor's account of her experience is a business biography, not an independent clinical credential or a guarantee that every special-needs cat can be accommodated.

A question worth settling
Which cat package includes the brush-out and finish I want, and who will handle my cat?
For a cat that does not need coat shortening, ask for the bathing and brush-out option rather than agreeing to the full haircut package by default. Give the groomer the cat's handling history in advance so the individual appointment can be planned; do not infer feline add-ons from the dog menu.
