What distinguishes this business
McOsker waives the last boarding day for a booked groom, not the grooming charge
McOsker Kennels in Amherst explicitly lists dog and cat bathing, mat work and nails seven days a week. If a boarding pet is groomed on collection day, the operator waives that day's boarding charge; the groom itself is not advertised as free. The cat loft is accommodation within a mixed-species facility, and its room description does not establish a dog-free grooming room.

A question worth settling
Can you confirm a feline grooming-only slot or a collection-day groom, the full service price and the exact intake and pickup times?
The FAQ declines pets with known aggression problems and says there is no veterinarian on staff, although one is on call. Wednesday's broad walk-in wording and the narrower normal drop-off windows need feline-specific confirmation before travelling. The fees page's $18 single-cat figure is boarding, not a grooming price; likewise its $50 deposit and 48-hour cancellation terms are listed under boarding. Ask which terms apply to a standalone groom at 603-672-0032. Weekend grooming intake is published as 9–9:30 am with a pickup call, different from office access hours.
