What distinguishes this business
The Main Lion accepts new haircut clients, but not new cats kept in full coat
The Main Lion in Paoli distinguishes a $75 lion cut with bathing, nails and ears from a $60 dry lion cut with nails and ears but no bath. The dry option excludes pelted coats and has other acceptance limits for the groomer to assess. Pelt removal is listed at $125. Its appointment page accepts new haircut clients but explicitly stops new clients who want to keep a full coat.

A question worth settling
Is my cat eligible for your new-client haircut service, and does the coat require the standard, dry or pelt-removal appointment?
Start by texting 610-241-0288, completing the client form and sending vaccine evidence. Replies are scheduled for 6–8 p.m., not necessarily immediately during grooming. Bring a secure carrier to Suite 208, 21 Plank Avenue; arrive on time rather than early, and contact the salon before a 15-minute no-contact delay triggers cancellation. Rescue cats have a 30-day wait. Existing clients receive complimentary maintenance services; the dedicated nail page lists Wednesday–Sunday 6–7:30 p.m., while other sections mention Wednesday only, so confirm the actual evening. A new standalone nail visit is $20 with ear cleaning and requires prior introduction and vaccine verification. Groomer suggestions about medication are not a substitute for veterinary instructions.
