What distinguishes this business
The Cat Tails' Premium Groom excludes haircuts, with maintenance and new-client pricing distinctions
The Cat Tails in Tea lists a Premium Groom from $80 for short-haired cats or $98 for long-haired cats, with bath, drying, comb-out, nails, ears and facial cleaning. It expressly excludes haircuts: lion or teddy/comb cuts add $50. Starting rates assume little or no tangling. Long-haired new clients or visits more than eight weeks apart have a separate extra charge from $20.

A question worth settling
What is the full first-visit total after coat length, matting, the haircut add-on and any large-cat charge, and which maintenance benefits would apply later?
Call or text 605-650-9169 for 220 South Main Avenue while the website's booking area is under construction. Grooming is appointment-only; Saturday and Sunday boarding operations do not establish weekend grooming slots. The menu adds $15 for cats 15 pounds and up, with separate mat and pelt-removal charges from $20 and $50. It also lists kittens six months and under from $55 and claw caps as an add-on. Maintenance benefits differ by coat category, so confirm the interval and included between-visit nail or mini-sanitary care. The owner's biography describes CFMG training in progress, not an already-awarded CFMG credential. Published amounts remain subject to South Dakota sales tax.
