What distinguishes this business
Happy Cat Alexandria currently places new grooming clients on a waitlist
Happy Cat Hotel & Spa Alexandria's cat-grooming page currently says it is not accepting new grooming clients and offers a waitlist. Existing clients can compare a standard bath-and-comb visit, a plush trim and a lion cut; these are different coat outcomes. The standard package includes nails, ears and eyes, with a sanitary trim for long-haired cats. No numerical base grooming price was visible in the reviewed public menu.

A question worth settling
Am I eligible to book now or only join the waitlist, and what is the full price for the selected coat service?
New-client online choices should not be treated as acceptance while the waitlist notice remains. The owner must attend the first drop-off, with one secured carrier per cat. Rabies and distemper documents must reach the salon in advance, alongside the profile and waiver. Nonmembers pay a 50% deposit; cancellation within 48 hours costs 50%, and no-shows are charged in full. Mat removal is offered only with a full groom, not as a dry shave, and matting or handling fees are outside the membership discount. The $60 annual per-cat membership is not the price of an appointment. A day room is separately charged and must be arranged in advance, so boarding availability does not establish a grooming slot.
