What distinguishes this business
The current announcement says no new cat clients; bathing is waterless
Cool Cats & Canines has a detailed feline menu, but its 2026 announcement says it is not accepting new cat clients at the time of this check. Existing-client services include lion cuts, localized comfort clips, longer clipper cuts and waterless bathing with brushing. The published bath option is not a conventional wet shampoo and dryer appointment, an important distinction when comparing providers.

A question worth settling
Has new-cat availability reopened, and would a waterless visit or localized comfort clip meet my cat's actual needs?
Do not travel to the Eldersburg salon on the strength of the service menu alone. The business operates Monday–Friday by appointment, asks callers to leave voicemail and explicitly says not to text. A written enquiry can establish whether a waiting list exists, but is not a confirmed booking. Cat nails start at $20; other estimates vary with coat, temperament and work required, and the pricing page excludes extras such as matting from base quotes. Existing clients seeking a longer trim should discuss the stated six-to-ten-week maintenance approach rather than assuming heavily matted coats can retain that length.
